Seeks to amend notification Nos. 48/2021 and 49/2021 – Customs, both dated 13.10.2021, in order to extend the existing concessional import duties on specified edible oils and lentils up to and inclusive of the 31st March, 2024

New Delhi, the 29th December,2022

G.S.R. ……(E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs
Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 124 of the Finance Act, 2021 (13 of 2021), the Central Government,
on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby amends the following notifications
of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the
Table below, to the extent specified in the corresponding entries in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-

734(E), dated the 13th October, 2021
In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the
figure “2023”, the figure “2024” shall be
substituted.
