NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th August, 2020
(INCOME TAX)

S.O. 2757(E).—In pursuance of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (2) and (5) of section
120 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act, the Central Board of
Direct Taxes hereby directs that the Income-tax Authorities of Regional e-Assessment Centres(hereinafter
referred to as the ReACs) specified in Column (2) of the Schedule below, having their headquarters at the
places mentioned in column (3) of the said Schedule, shall exercise the powers and functions of Assessing
Officers concurrently, to facilitate the conduct of Faceless Assessment proceedings in respect of territorial
areas mentioned in the column (4), persons or classes of persons mentioned in the column (5) and cases or
classes of cases mentioned in the column (6) of the Schedule-1 of the notification No. 50 of 2014 in S.O.
2752 (E), dated the 22nd October, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II, section 3,
sub-section (ii)::
