DGGI and its Units conduct Special Campaign 3.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM)
DGGI launches special e-waste disposal drive for electronic/electrical items; 70 kg to be disposed off
Approx. 1,000 files weeded out in first fortnight and 5,000 square feet area regained under Special Campaign 3.0
The Special Campaign 3.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) is in full swing in Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) at Headquarters, 4 Sub National Units, 26 Zonal Units and 40 Regional Units.
Extensive cleaning of office premises and public places, e- waste disposal, weeding out of files across India are being carried out with the specific aim of institutionalising Swachhata and minimising pendency.
As part of Special Campaign 3.0, DGGI launched e-waste disposal drive wherein e-waste i.e. electronic/electrical items and their parts of approx. 70 kg has been identified/collected for disposal and the same is being disposed off in the drive.
Officers and Staff members also conducted the review and weeding out of old physical records/files and approx. 1,000 files have been weeded out in the first fortnight of month-long campaign. In this process approx. 5,000 square feet area has been regained and the same is being used for aesthetic purpose/ sitting of staff/visitors.
Cleanliness drives with emphasis on space management, improvement of record management, overall cleanliness of Government offices by removing redundant scrap material and obsolete items were conducted in alignment with the vision of the Special Campaign 3.0.
Under the Special Campaign 3.0 DGGI is committed for disposal of old records, obsolete goods including e-waste and condemned vehicles.
